I design and host small Iznik pattern painting workshops for boutique hotels and slow-travel venues, places that already care about craft and heritage.
What it looks like
- A small group of guests paints a traditional Iznik design on fine art paper with gouache, guided step by step
- Each guest takes home their finished piece, framed (A4, in a 21x30 cm frame)
- Up to 3-4 guests per session, 2 hours
- Outdoors where possible, in a garden or on a terrace
- I bring all materials, including paper, paints, frames and packaging
- The property provides a shaded table
- One session, a series across a guest’s stay, or an artist in residence.
- Terms are agreed with each property
Where I teach now
I run Turkish tile painting workshops for visitors in Istanbul, by the Golden Horn.
Tell me your property’s name, location and website, and a line about your guests. I reply within a day.
Open to collaborations across the Mediterranean and beyond.
